Rio Grande Valley Videography

We've been providing video production services for the Rio Grande Valley, in one way or another, for over 10 years, and we've seen a lot of changes to the medium over the past decade. We went from VHS to DVD, from DVD to Hard Drives and Memory. We could also go on, and on about the changes in computer technology, but the point we're trying to get across is that even though the technology has changed, most video production companies continue to rely on the same old business model. Working in Digital Media, we're well aware that anything that doesn't adapt to the times will very quickly become extinct.

The Reality of Our Times
The Challenge we face is relatively simple (yet we've been discussing it for months now) How can we offer full, professional video production services at rates that make sense in the current economic environment, without sacrificing quality. Here at Border Perspective, we love what we do, and it's incredibly important for us to be priced at a range that is accessible to everyone. We believe we've come up with a solution that not only defeats this challenge, but also serves as a business model that's adapted to the 21st century.

Our New Official Rates

$65/hr (starting) Unedited Video Production Services: This option is perfect for small events, corporate meetings or live events for which you simply need a camera-man, or an event where you will need all the footage exactly the way it was shot with no editing. We record on HD Mini-DV cassettes (at 1080i, DSLR 1080p also available), and at the end of the event we simply hand over the tape, or transfer the footage over to DVD format. (other digital formats optional)

$95/hr (starting) Edited Video Production Services: This option is especially set-up for much more elaborate events such as weddings. We cover the specified amount of hours of your event, we then take the footage through a thorough editing process that includes everything from image enhancements, color correcting, sound mastering, content editing, and interactive DVD menu authoring. (additional editing option available)

ANY Budget Commercial/Promotional Video Production Services: This option is for clients seeking specialized video production such as online promotional videos, short documentaries, or music videos. Additional features include specialized audio, and several distribution options. You tell us what your idea, and your budget is, and we customize a package to match it.

These are the basic options we've set up as our official rates (basically for legal/tax purposes), but we're well aware that no two events are ever alike. We encourage our clients to call us so we can discus the details of each production so that we can come up with a much more customized solution, as well as discuss additional optional features.
